"Luke's still upset about not having powers." Colt said appearing behind Elly and Luke.

"Daddy! It's not fair. Why can't I have powers like you and Mommy or Elly and Skye?" Luke asked his dad.

"Daddy!" I exclaim and rush towards him, arms open for a hug.

Colt smiled and picked up Elly. He hugged her and tickled her stomach before turning to Luke. "Son, I'm sorry. I cant control the passing of the mutant gene. For some reason you didnt inherit it. That doesn't make you any less then Skye or Elly, but you must learn to calm down. I still remember my promise to you." He told Luke.

"Yeah but that could still take forever before I'm old enough for you to teach me. I want to learn now.." Luke complained.

"He means, showing me how to use those weapons like he does, that way I can be as close as possible to having powers." Luke answered before Colt could and then started to stomp away.

"Don't go far, Luke. I want to talk to you later." Colt called out to his son and then sighed and turned to his daughter he was holding. "Well what have you been up to, little girl?" He asked her in a playful tone, so she would keep her good mood.

"I met a strange girl" I say and frown a little
"Why is Luke upset?" I ask worried about him.
I cared a great deal about Luke.

"Luke will be fine. He just needs time to relax." He answered her, to discourage her from worrying too much about her brother. "And you met a strange girl, hmm?" He asked her.

"Interesting. Did you catch her name, Elly?" He asked, wandering exactly which Firestarter here she was talking about.

I put on my think thinking face and think, really hard.
"Umm I think it was Ally?" I say
"That's all I remember"

Colt smirked and hugged her tighter. "My little thinker." He said to her and laughed a bit at the ryhming between his daughter's name and Ally's name.

Colt set her down and patted her head. "You can try, Elly. But don't getmad at him if he doesn't want to talk ok?" He asked her before sending her off.

Luke stopped walking and turned to his sister. "What, Elly?" He asked her.

"If it would make you feel better, I won't use my powers until your old enough to use a sword" I tell him.

Luke smiled and hugged her tighter for a few more seconds. "I'm sorry about getting mad earlier....I just feel left out since I dont have powers." He told her quietly.

Luke smiled and backed up. "It's ok." He said and then yawned. "Nap time already?" He asked after yawning a second time.

Luke nodded and walked back over to Colt. "Daddy. Elly and me were wondering if it was nap time yet?" He told Colt.

Colt turned to Luke and saw them yawning from time to time. "Yes, It is." He answered.
